Chicken Bone Broth

Ingredients

1 chicken (bones, feet, neck)

2 small onions or shallots

1 head garlic
-
1 tsp peppercorns

1-2 bay leaves

2 tbsp seat salt
-
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

4 quarts filtered water
-
1 bunch fresh organic herbs (i.e. Tarragon)
Directions

Place all ingredients except herbs into a large stockpot and let sit 1 hour
-
Bring to a boil and get rid of any foam that rises to the top

Cook on very low heat for 8-12 hours

Let cool. Separate the meat from the bones. Strain the broth
-
Wash the herbs well. Warm up serving of strained broth (do not boil) and add a large handful of herbs (for extra minerals and taste)
