Ingredients

⅔ cup raw chicken liver or heart

1 small onion, roughly chopped

4 cloves garlic

1 lb ground beef

1 cup grated and chopped zucchini

1 tsp sea salt

¼ cup fresh parsley, coarsely chopped

¼ cup fresh basil, coarsely chopped

1 tsp dried thyme
Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a food processor add raw liver or heart, onion, parsley, basil, garlic, thyme and salt. Blend until a puree forms

In a large mixing bowl, add liver puree mixture, ground beef and grated zucchini. Mix until blended.

For into meatballs of equal size, approximately 3 tbsp each

Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until cooked through in the centre, flipping halfway.
