Sweet Chili Lime Tofu

Sweet Chili Lime Tofu


  • 1 packet extra firm tofu (14 oz.)

  • 3 tbsp Stevia

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • ½ lime, zested

  • ½ tsp red chili flakes

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 4 mint leaves, sliced thin


  • Whisk together all sauce ingredients until Stevia and salt has dissolved. Set aside.

  • Drain tofu and cut into small thin triangles.

  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. When hot, spread tofu in pan in a single layer.

  • Using a spatula, gently press down the tofu, squeezing out excess liquid. Allow this liquid to boil and dissolve. Continue pressing 5 minutes, then flip tofu and repeat 5 more minutes on the other side.

  • Pour the sauce in and stir until the tofu is full coated. When the sauce begins to bubble turn off the heat, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly and form a glaze.
