Crack Slaw


  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tbsp + tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 3 ½ cups shredded cabbage

  • ½ cup chopped green onion

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ tsp stevia

  • ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tsp white vinegar

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • ½ tsp chili paste or hot sauce


  • In a large skillet, combine minced garlic with ground beef and brown over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper

  • Drain fat and discard. Remove beef from pan and set aside.

  • In the same skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the green onion and cabbage stirring until the cabbage is slightly wilted and tender.

  • Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

  • Stir the sauce and meat into the cabbage mixture.
