Slow Cooker BBQ Shredded Beef


  • 2 lbs beef, boneless

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1 onion powder

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • Low carb ketchup

  • 1 garlic clove, halved

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tsp sugar substitute


  • Add ketchup, vinegar, onion powder, paprika, sugar substitute and garlic into crock pot. Stir well to combine all ingredients

  • Place meat in the crock pot, seasoning with salt and pepper

  • Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or until tender.

  • Shred and pull apart the meat. Mix well to combine with the sauce and incorporate all the flavours

  • Enjoy in a wrap or on top of a roasted Portobello mushroom.
