Rapid Skin Cancer Screening
Coming to Advanced Vitality July 6th!
Advanced Vitality is excited to be a flagship clinic with MedX Health and bring the future of skin cancer screening to market and our community!
The wait time to see a dermatologist in Canada can be 5 months to 1 year. With skin cancer accounting for approximately 1/3 of all new cases of cancer in Canada, this service increases the likelihood of an early diagnosis and successful outcomes.
The SIAScope will capture images of concerning skin lesions or moles, which are then uploaded to be assessed by a local Licensed Ontario Dermatologist. Results and next steps are communicated to you within 72 hours!
The SIAscope takes 5 images, including 4 spectrophotometric images 2 mm below the skin’s surface showing the disorganization of a suspicious mole or lesion. This allows dermatologists to make a more accurate assessment based on the underlying physiology of the skin.

Since chiropractic care can improve brain function and neurology, we needed a way to measure it and track improvement during your care plan.
Our neuroTHERMAL scan looks for temperature differences along the spine that indicate areas of stress and nerve interference that chiropractic care can remove.
All of our scans are non-invasive, painless and safe for everyone! Including pregnant mama's, kiddos and new babes!
Similar to HRV testing, the neuroTHERMAL score gives us information about the health and balance of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). The ANS regulates a number of bodily functions including body temperature. This system functions automatically without any conscious thought or control. It is the primary activator of the fight-or-flight response (stress response). When we see a scan with unbalanced and abnormal temperature readings, we know that there is a deeper level of stress getting stuck that a chiropractic care plan can help restore!

Congratulations Kim!
We would like to extend a big congratulations to Clinic Member Kim on the birth of her daughter Andrijana Maria! Andrijana was born on Thursday, June 24th. Everyone is happy, healthy and adjusting nicely at home. Kim has been seeing Dr. Tamara throughout her pregnancy and is looking forward to when she is able to come back in for postnatal care!

Congratulations Danielle, on the birth of her son Jonathan, joining the world June 23rd! Mama and babe are doing well! Danielle used both prenatal chiropractic and massage services during her pregnancy and is excited to get Baby Jonathan in for his pediatric scans! Her father Carlos (clinic member spotlight in June), is super excited to be a new grandpa!

Meet Brittany!
Brittany has been a clinic member with Advanced Vitality for just over one year. In that time, she has taken advantage of our regular, pre/post natal and pediatric chiropractic care, as well as registered massage therapy.
Brittany originally decided to seek chiropractic care after years of back, shoulder and neck pain associated with Fibromyalgia and Behcet's Disease.
I was getting tired of all the medications and nothing seemed to help. Advanced Vitality was the best decision I made for my own care, during and now even after my pregnancy.
I chose Chiropractic Care for my son because it’s a great foundation to keep a healthy and strong immune system working at its best.
My son also was diagnosed with mild Hip Dysplasia, Dr. Tamara went above and beyond to share resources with me like some exercises I could do to help as it heals and improves so he can continue to achieve his milestones.
If I could give you one piece of advice, do it for yourself and for your children. It was the best decision I made. You deserve to feel good as a mama after all of the carrying, bending and lifting we do in caring for our babies. Do it for your children as it will continue to help them to get strong and meet those milestones. A healthy immune system is the best weapon to living your best life.

The Advanced Vitality team is proud to participate in the #RunforWomen - a Canada wide event to support Women's Mental Health.
We are lacing up our shoes, and are virtually walking or running 5k or 10k throughout the week of July 4-11th!
This virtual run is hosted by the LOVE YOU by Shoppers Drug Mart™ program. This event is a virtual 5k or 10k walk/run and the Toronto division is raising funds for the Women's College Hospital Foundation.
We are so pleased with the feedback and support so many of you have offered already! We even have a few of you on our TEAM! This is a matter near and dear to our hearts and we know it is to the many daughters, women and mothers that we take care of in our own clinic.
We are deeply grateful and appreciative for any support that you can provide!
